Our Story

Muslim Professionals Network began with an idea: to create spaces where Muslim professionals in Finland could truly feel seen, valued, and uplifted. What started in August 2023 as a warm gathering in Nuuksio filled with nature, shared faith, and honest conversations quickly became a powerful moment of recognition, as we realized how deeply our journeys, challenges, hopes, and ambitions connected us.

From those beginnings, MPN has grown into a compassionate and purpose-driven community shaped by care, trust, and intent. By listening, learning together, and supporting one another, we have built bonds that go beyond networking and created spaces where talents are seen and experiences are shared.

Today, we bring together Muslims from diverse backgrounds across Finland, nurturing trust, mentorship, belonging, and meaningful collaboration. With partners, sponsors, volunteers, and supportive communities by our side, we design impactful gatherings, empower voices, and turn intention into impact, opening doors, strengthening identity, and inspiring faith-aligned leadership for the future.

Saara Taha

Vice President

I am the Vice President and Graphic Designer of MPN, responsible for shaping the organization’s visual identity and creative direction. I am also responsible for hosting our events, ensuring smooth coordination, engaging presentations, and meaningful experiences through clear communication, strong leadership, and thoughtful design that reflects our values and vision.

Zaki Azedani

President

Zaki is a marketing professional who brings a strong mix of creativity and structure to everything he does. Known for organizing events and a “get things done” attitude, he keeps things moving smoothly. Outside work, he enjoys skateboarding and is on a lifelong journey to improve his Arabic, contributing positively to the community.

Mehwish Ahmed

Head of Events

Mehwish Ahmed is the Head of Events at the Muslim Professional Network, driven by a strong desire to give back to the community and empower Muslim professionals. Her vision is to create well-structured events that foster connection, growth, and impact. With a background as an energy engineer and years of experience in nonprofit organizations, she brings both strategic thinking and a community-centered approach to her work.

Tech & Community

A lot of people forget that even after outsourcing their marketing, sales, and admin tasks, they're still responsible for everyday life responsibilities—like booking doctor appointments, running errands, or keeping their personal calendars organized. These tasks matter, but coordinating them eats up valuable time and shifts focus away from strategic planning and high-level business decisions.

Head of Marketing

Maab Osman is the Head of Marketing at MPN, leading brand development, communication, and event visibility. She focuses on creating clear, engaging messaging and building a strong, consistent presence for the community across all platforms.
